Effortlessly cool in fair trade style from Abrazo Style

Today's post is sponsored by Abrazo Style. All opinions are my own, and I'm delighted to bring you another ethical fashion company that truly cares for people+the planet through the garments they create!

I haven't loved a dress quite this much in a long time! I received this beautiful piece from fair trade company Abrazo Style and promptly wore it three days in a row. Being short and petite, I tend to veer more toward fitted clothing (even though I love the look of today's trends of boxy tops and swing dresses). This dress is the perfect piece for me to ease into a more relaxed style- it's fitted enough through the chest to be flattering, while still super loose and comfortable through the skirt. Did I mention it has pockets?

The Maribel dress ( $98.00, but the aqua version is $20.00 off at $78.00) is delicately embroidered by skilled Mexican artisans. You can view photos of the Abrazo embroidery team in-process on the Abrazo website!

Abrazo Style also offers blouses, wraps, scarves, a gorgeous range of jewelry made from natural materials, and woven bags.

I love that Abrazo style offers many pieces in neutral colors (white, navy, chambray)- which is wonderful for those of us with a small/capsule wardrobe who need versatile garments that can coordinate with the other items in our closets.

Abrazo Style has done a beautiful job of taking traditional Mexican embroidery techniques and using them to produce beautiful, modern style for the globally-inspired woman. I'm excited to continue supporting this great company!
