This post was created in collaboration with Bunosilo. I was not paid for this post but I did receive product for review!
Custom-made at an affordable price, with good ethics too? That's what ethical brand Bunosilo is bringing to the table.
Based in India, this brand offers a colorful array of apparel and home goods made from primarily natural fabrics, with a price point ranging from about $20 to about $100.
Your Bunosilo product will be made especially for you, upon ordering (you'll be able to choose the correct size and input any special custom requests at checkout), and will arrive on your doorstep in eco-friendly packaging, with your name on the tag!
I chose to try out Bunosilo's slim fit Khadi Cotton Shirt, which retails for $32. It's made from hand-spun and hand-woven fabric, resulting in a unique texture that makes this shirt one of a kind. The cotton has gotten softer with each wash, making my Bunosilo shirt super comfortable to wear!
The handwoven fabric and pockets on this shirt give it a more casual feel, which works well in my tiny closet since I can incorporate it into my work-appropriate outfits (under a blazer or paired with a tailored skirt), but I can also throw it on with a pair of jean shorts!
I love the fit and quality of this shirt, and the made-to-order nature of Bunosilo's manufacturing model (which reduces waste and inefficiency). I'm planning to order Andrew a shirt or two, next!
Have you ever tried ordering from a made-to-order shop? What was your experience?
