*A huge thank you to Global Goods Partners for sponsoring this post! I only review products that I love for companies I believe in, all opinions are my own.
Today's company feature shines a spotlight on Global Goods Partners, a non-profit social enterprise which works with more than 40 partners that collectively employ over 3,000 women in 20 countries across the globe!
Global Goods Partners' products are made in Africa, Asia, and the Americas, and include jewelry, home goods, and even items for babies and children (including the cutest little stuffed animal friends you've ever seen... I mean, this stuffed alpaca bunny is adorable. I need a friend to have a baby shower stat!).
I love that GGP is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and that the organization is transparent with it's funding and spending; publishing financial reports online for supporters to have access to.
Global Goods Partners sent me this gorgeous Long Stacked Paper Pendant necklace to give away to one lucky reader during this month's big ethical giveaway (stay tuned!). It looks like a chunk of rock, but it's actually recycled paper, stacked and compressed and carved into a unique pendant.
Many fair trade cooperatives work with recycled paper beads, but I'd never seen a pendant like this one before! I love the creativity behind the design. I decided to style the necklace with a simple pair of california-made jeans and a thrifted button down, but it would look equally cool with a flowing bohemian top or a printed maxi dress.
Here are a few more of my favorite picks from the Global Goods Partners' online store:
I love the felt flowers- I just had someone ask me the other day about ethically made fake flowers for a wedding... I didn't have a resource for her at the time, so I'm glad that I discovered GGP!
