If you haven't heard of this up-and-coming ethical brand already, I'd like to introduce you to Hands Producing Hope- a shop offering handcrafted jewelry, headbands, bags, and more!
I Skyped with founder and executive director Rebecca Gardner a few weeks ago just to have a conversation about social justice and ethical business and ended up talking for an hour and a half... It's always so awesome to hear someone's story and passion first hand. Rebecca has a tireless drive to do more, to create better opportunities, that's inspiring and motivating.
Rebecca's journey to Hands Producing Hope began when she met a group of Guaymi people in Costa Rica. This people group is discriminated against and faces a stark lack of opportunity. Hands Producing Hope has become a way for the Guaymi people to flourish within their own community while having access to dignified work. You can learn more about the history of HPH here.
Hands Producing Hope has some fantastic and exciting plans for expansion in the future- you're going to want to follow along to watch their story unfold.
Today's giveaway features one of my favorite pieces that Hands Producing Hope creates- the Kai Necklace. Tiny seeds gathered by the artisans are sandwiched between bronze bars for a elegant and minimalist look.
I love this piece with jeans and a knit top, but it would also look amazing styled a bit more bohemian with a long skirt, big hat, and flowy shirt.
Want to win your own Kai Necklace from Hands Producing Hope? It's easy- just give HPH some love using the entry prompts below! A winner will be announced one week from today.
*Update! And our winner is..... ASHLEY PARRISH! Congrats! Look for an email today with instructions on how to claim your prize!
