7 Places to Shop For Ethical Fashion in the Twin Cities

This is for you, Twin Cities friends! Though we might not beat New York or San Francisco with the sheer number of ethical boutiques available to us, we're not completely condemned to online-only shopping for ethical fashion! Our thriving fashion scene offers a huge variety of thrift stores, vintage shops, as well as several great shops selling fair trade, sustainable, and locally made garments to fit every budding ethical shopper's taste and style.

Here are five of my favorite brick-and-mortar stores selling ethical clothing and accessories in the Twin Cities. If you have a store to add to the list, let me know in the comments below!

1. Spoils of Wear

Spoils of Wear is the perfect mix of classic, neutral, everyday pieces and fun, funky statement pieces. You'll find a ton of your favorite ethical brands all in one place- Roma, Monkee Genes, Bibico, Mata Traders, and more. Jill's vision is to create a shop that carries sustainable and ethical choices for everyone- no matter your budget- and most items are under $100.

There's a spacious changing area so that you can try on outfits to your heart's content, and a funky old arcade game in the corner. You'll find plenty of local love here, too, with locally printed Minnesota tees and hats, and a few other locally made goods.

Location:
1566 Selby Ave St Paul, MN 55104
