I love heels. I'm definitely not a heels-every-day kind of lady, but when I'm getting ready to take care of business (#smallbusinessboss) or glamming it up for a date night, You'll usually find me donning a pair. Comfortable, affordable, ethically-made heels are a bit hard to come by (there are a few brands out there, and not a huge variety of styles) so I was delighted to discover British-made brand Yull. Yull is the only brand I've found that carries a heel that has the classic, shiny, patent leather look that I love!
The Grosvenor style that I'm wearing is vegan-friendly, made from black patent eco-leather with a resin sole. Other yull styles are made of leather and rubber. Beyond the classic black and nude heels and court shoes, Yull stocks a whimsical line of brightly colored designs with color-blocked toes and scalloped details.
I ordered according to the sizing guide on Yull's website, and I'm really happy with the fit. The shoes don't pinch my toes too much, or slide off of my heel when I'm walking. On a 1-10 comfort scale, my Yull heels come it at around an 8 (which I chalk up to my rather wide feet). There's really a huge difference between plastic heels purchased at Target and a carefully designed and crafted pair that's been made with thoughtfulness and intention.
