Zarpar Global Living = Textile Heaven

Today's post is sponsored by Zarpar. All opinions are my own! Thank you for supporting the good work of the ethical companies that Life+Style+Justice promotes!

I love textiles. Brightly colored fabrics, lavish rugs, embroidery, and pattens, and anything and everything hand-woven (I can't get enough of that texture!) I discovered Zarpar, an Australia-based ethical company, and was immediately taken with the lovely collection of globally sourced textiles in the shop!

When Zarpar offered to send out a few items to include in my bedroom makeover, I was like a kid in a candy shop! The first thing I chose was the gorgeous Aztec cushion. Woven in the mountain villages of Tameslouht, Morrocco, the bold patten and silky cotton make it a lovely addition to any room.

Zarpar also carries a line of brass trays and vases with a beautiful ombre effect that immediately caught my eye. (I think that these would make such pretty wedding gifts!). I've placed the "dusk horizon" vase on my bedside table and have enjoyed watching the morning light gleam off its imperfect edges when I wake up.

The Basha carnival cushion, another new addition to my bohemian bedroom, is made in Bangladesh from recycled fabrics stitched together with embroidery. There is an absolute rainbow of different colors and styles to choose from online, so if you've been looking for the perfect match for your couch/bedspread/chair you just might find it! Plus, at just $15.00, they're extremely affordable even with international shipping.

In addition to textiles and metal work, Zarpar also offers the most darling woven baskets- including baby bassinet "moses" baskets for your globally conscious kid.

I've had such a difficult time not spoiling this weekends room makeover reveal- I just love the way that it turned out. Tune in Tomorrow to see how these lovely items from Zarpar fit in to my bedroom's new style!
